What is an ICT Integration in our Studies??

What is it??

Based from my research, the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) curriculum covers the topics and concepts that are required to design, implement, and manage a variety of computer-based information systems. That the curriculum includes the study of computer hardware, application and operating system software, system integration, database design and management, networking, and also the network security. Well after they graduated, they can also expect to fill positions with titles such as Information Technologist, Project Manager, Systems or Network Administrator, Computer Support Specialist, and Database Administrator.

Well using the ICT Integration in our subject area, there are the computers and technologies that can provide powerful opportunities for the different types of teaching and learning, such as in our different subjects. The educators can also integrate i.e. computers, CDROMs, DVD-ROMs, applications software, multimedia applications, electric books and communications applications into the classroom. These applications are allow to the students to build a cognitive scaffold (mental bridge) in order to gain an understanding of complicated concepts. Also the multimedia allows students to think not just in words and pictures but as well in colors, in sounds, in animation and others.

“Creativity is the key” this is what the others say about their studies. This is also what the ICT Integration can do for us students to develop our skills using the livelihood or the newly and highly technologies such as the computers and others that can truly help more in our studies. Also with our teachers in our studies, they are also giving us some activities, assignments and projects as well. Because of that they are also allowing us to use the newly and highly technologies right now such as computers and others that can help us to research or to find out on what are we going to write or on what are we going to answer on the given tasks from us.

So based from what I have said before, truly that the ICT integration are so important to us students and also from the others that can also help more to develop our skills on using the livelihood technologies especially using the computers as well. So based from our studies also, I will share to you some moments or the times that we’ve been with the ICT Integration. Now here it is…!!
