The ICT Integration in Filipino

Well when I became a fourth year high school student this time, I expected more to my studies right now that there will be more projects and activities that I will go over in our Filipino subject. But last year when I am still a third year student, our teacher in Filipino is not always giving us an activity that we will go over to make our grades higher, but still she’s not. So when I became a fourth year student this year, I expected more from this subject.

On the second week of classes, our teacher gave us early a new activity to work on it. She let us to research more important things about the novel of our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal with his novel “The El Filibusterismo”. She taught us to research on why Jose Rizal wrote this book and also she told us that we will also have an advance reading based on the book of El Filibusterismo.

So because of that, I still decided to use again the internet to search more and to read more also about on what our teacher have given a task for us to work. And the reasoned why I will use the computer is that because our book of El Filibusterismo in our house has been destroyed. So on the next day, I have my activity and then I passed it to our teacher. Well also on that day, we have also had our lesson on the first chapter of the novel. Actually at that time, I finally knew since then the story of the first chapter of the given book. So thanks again to the internet.

Also last month, our teacher in Filipino gave us again an activity to make a poem on the coupon bond that have a drawing on the back of the given poem base in what topic you have chosen and then it will be pass on that day as well. But still my problem is, I don’t know how to draw and also I don’t have any idea to write a poem. So because of that, I decided to pass it on the next day because I will again make it with the internet to help me to grab some photos that I will use on my activity. Well I asked my teacher and then I was allowed to use the net. But still it will be pass on the next day.

On the next day, I passed it and my teacher told me that it will be nice more if I draw it by my own and not using computer but still I told her the truth that I don’t really know how to draw, but then again she gave me a high grade from that activity.

Well still internet is so very useful to us students like me.
